How to Reach ISAD

ISAD is located at Corso Lodi 59, in the southern part of Milan, just a short walk from the Fondazione Prada. The area is well served by public transport, making it easy for students, faculty, and visitors to reach the school from anywhere in the city. The closest metro station is Lodi T.I.B.B. on the yellow line (M3), which is only a few minutes' walk from the campus. Several tram and bus lines also stop nearby, including tram 16 and bus 62, 65, and 90/91. For those arriving by train, Milano Rogoredo and Milano Centrale stations are both connected to the yellow metro line, providing a direct route to the school.

If you are travelling by car, please note that Corso Lodi is a major thoroughfare with limited parking. We recommend using public transport or the nearby paid parking facilities. The school is also accessible by bicycle, with bike lanes along Corso Lodi and surrounding streets. For international visitors, Milano Linate airport is the closest, approximately 20 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes by public transport. Milano Malpensa and Orio al Serio airports are further away but well connected by shuttle buses to Milano Centrale.

Once you arrive, you will find the ISAD campus in a modern building that houses classrooms, design studios, workshops, and administrative offices. The reception desk is located on the ground floor, where staff can assist you with directions and general inquiries. Visitors are kindly asked to sign in at reception upon arrival.

Visiting the School

Prospective students and their families are welcome to visit ISAD to experience the school's atmosphere and learn more about our programmes. We organise guided tours throughout the academic year, typically on weekdays. During a visit, you will have the opportunity to see our facilities, meet current students and faculty, and ask questions about the curriculum, admissions process, and student life. To arrange a visit, please contact the general information email or call the school during office hours. We recommend booking at least one week in advance to ensure availability.

In addition to individual visits, ISAD hosts open days and orientation events, especially in spring and early summer. These events provide a comprehensive overview of the school, including presentations by the academic director, workshops, and portfolio reviews. Dates and details are announced on our website and social media channels. If you are unable to attend in person, we also offer virtual tours and online information sessions. Please contact the admissions team for more information.

For international visitors, we can provide advice on accommodation and travel arrangements. Our Counselling & Accommodation page offers useful tips and resources. We also recommend exploring the vibrant neighbourhood around the school, which is home to the Fondazione Prada, numerous design studios, and a growing number of cafes and restaurants.

Contacting Specific Departments

To ensure your inquiry is handled efficiently, please direct your message to the appropriate department. The general information email is suitable for initial questions about programmes, admissions, and school policies. The academic secretariat (Segreteria Didattica) handles matters related to enrolment, transcripts, certificates, and student records. For questions about course content, timetables, or academic regulations, contact the academic coordination office (Coordinamento Didattico).

External communication, including press inquiries, partnerships, and media relations, should be directed to the communication office. For matters concerning E.A.B.H.E.S. accreditation, such as degree recognition or credit transfer, please use the accreditation email. The academic direction (Direzione Didattica) is available for high-level academic concerns that cannot be resolved by other offices. Please note that all email addresses are provided on this page for your convenience.

When contacting us, please include your full name, student ID (if applicable), and a clear description of your inquiry. This will help us respond more quickly. We aim to reply to all emails within two working days. For urgent matters, we recommend calling during office hours.

Office Hours and Availability

The school offices are open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 18:00, and on Friday from 9:00 to 17:00. The offices are closed on weekends and on Italian public holidays. During the summer months and holiday periods, office hours may vary; any changes will be announced on the website and via email. The secretariat is particularly busy at the beginning of each semester and during exam periods, so we appreciate your patience during these times.

Faculty members are available to meet with students during their designated office hours, which are posted on the school's internal bulletin board and online learning platform. To schedule a meeting, please contact the faculty member directly via email. The school library and computer labs have extended opening hours during the academic year, and details are available from the secretariat.

If you need to submit documents or payments in person, please visit the secretariat during office hours. For your convenience, many administrative tasks can also be completed online through the student portal. If you are unsure which office to contact, the reception desk can direct you to the appropriate person.
