Garden Design Workshop: improve Milano!
ISAD proposes a garden design workshop to make a reconversion planning hipothesis for the disused areas to create more or less vast, public or private green spaces, that will give lifeblood back to the entire district. A public but at the same time indipendent big green area, owned by the community, the district, the city.
The space is a complex area placed in the south of the railway yard of Porta Romana in Milan that, is defined by a continuous trasformation and by a building reconversion phenomenon. Offices, houses, design schools, and factories have beed transformed in well-known fashion industries.
A disused railway yard can turn into an important reconversion occasion for this city today.
