The course intends to provide to students a digital support in order to enable them developing autonomously their own project. In this way, the students will be able to manage all the needed techniques to represent their project. The bidimensional aspects of the system will particularly taken into consideration so to know the main functions and commands of CAD. AutoCAD will be used, simply because it is the most diffused and advanced program of drawing all over the world. Other related programs of drawing and render will be presented to make students more familiar with the panorama of CAD.
Finally the course will aim to learn students a “method” of drawing with CAD which will help them to adapt to any other related program in the future.
The advanced course of AutoCAD proposes, other than widening the necessary instruments of bidimensional construction, a study of the problematic related to the three-dimensional construction viewed as an approach to architectonic construction. Therefore, an analysis of geometrical rules applied to architectural composition supported with real examples in this field is foreseen. The aim of his course is not only to form students to the use of this software but also to deepen its relations with the architectonic representation.
